Your Appointment

Photo ID and insurance card are required for all visits

If a copay is required, it is payable at the time of your visit

If you are a self-pay patient a deposit of $300 is required to cover possible physician/lab fees

WPG provides a 15 minute grace period for your appointment. If you see that you are not going to be able to keep your appointment, please call us at (901) 276-3222 to reschedule your appointment

If you need to cancel an appointment, we require that you do so 24 hours in advance of your visit. If not, a cancellation fee may apply

Same day appointments are available. However. it may be with a different doctor or nurse practitioner if your physician is not available

You will receive a text message reminding you of your scheduled appointment 72 hours in advance, an email 48 hours, and/or phone call 24 hours before your appointment. It is our goal to give you the opportunity to confirm OR cancel your appointment if necessary.

If you had lab work, ultrasound or testing pertinent to your visit at another doctor’s office or hospital please bring the files/x-rays with you or inform the scheduler so that we can request the files in advance of your scheduled appointment.

If you are not experiencing any complications with your pregnancy, we ask that your first appointment be made at 8-10 weeks

If you are an OB patients transferring from another doctor, please request to have records sent to our office PRIOR to your first appointment so that we may review your complete file

An OB contract estimating your total cost for your pregnancy, if applicable, will be made available once your pregnancy has been confirmed

WPG provides a physician call coverage system after 6pm on weekdays and 24 hours on weekends for emergencies and deliveries. During these times your care may be provided by another physician in the practice

If you are having complications at any time during your pregnancy, PLEASE CALL THE OFFICE FIRST AT (901) 276-3222 and speak with the nurse on-call. She will contact the physician to assist you in deciding if care is needed at the hospital or could more efficiently handled at the office

If you miss more than two scheduled appointments without contacting our office to reschedule, you may be subject to termination

If you are expecting a boy, we collect a $250 circumcision deposit for all insurances except TN Care and Tricare (Spouses only)

Two routine OB ultrasounds, one in the first trimester and the second one at 20 weeks are standard. Any additional ultrasounds are only done based on medical necessity

We provide coverage at Methodist Hospital Germantown and Baptist Women’s Hospital only for deliveries

Test Results

Test Results

You will receive a PIN code at the time of your visit. The pin is required to obtain test results over the phone to ensure your privacy

In general, our policy is to contact you for abnormal tests only, unless informed otherwise by your provider

You will receive a lab results card that allows you to contact the lab directly in 7-10 business days from the date of your visit to obtain your PAP SMEAR results. The PAP SMEAR results line will only give normal results. If we see any abnormality you will be instructed to contact the office



Ultrasound is available at both offices and is subject to copay or deductible if it applies.

3-D ultrasound is available at our Germantown location for a $150 fee.
